1) Who is the 90 Day Music Licensing Challenge for? The 90 Day Challenge is open to songwriters of all backgrounds who want to learn more about how the music licensing business works and actively seek licensing opportunities. Ideally, you should have at least a few tracks ready to pitch to potential opportunities. But even if you don't, the program is designed in such a way that you can go through the course, learn more about how the business works and submit your music when you're ready. With the exception of the private coaching, the entire course is structured in a way that you can go through the training and submit your music at your convenience.
2) Why 90 Days? The music licensing business is not some sort of "get rich quick scheme" for musicians. It takes time and considerable effort to break into the industry. Of course some musicians get lucky and have success quickly, but usually, due to the nature of how the business works, it takes time to get started. In my experience, the writers who are the most successful licensing their music, pursue music licensing very diligently. The 90 Day Music Licensing Challenge provides a framework and support system for getting started, or furthering your success and licensing more music, over a sustained period of time. One of the things that holds people back from having success in the music business, and in general, is simply giving up too soon. The 90 Day Challenge is designed to give you the greatest chance of having success with your music.
3) What are the chances of licensing my music if I take the 90 Day Challenge? There isn't really an easy answer to this question. There are lots of variables involved, the most important one being the music you make, which I obviously have no control over. With that said, by going through the program, learning more about how the business works and submitting your music to the 90 daily leads, you'll be exponentially increasing your chances of success. I have a long list of clients I've helped place music for. (See the homepage for places my clients' music has been heard)
4) What types of leads are you providing? I'll be sending you daily leads for publishers, music libraries and music supervisors that license a broad range of music. These are all companies I've verified are open to hearing your submission. I'll include specific instructions on how to submit your music to each company.
5) How often is the 90 Day Music Licensing Challenged offered? The 90 Day Challenge is currently offered based on my availability and schedule. The next 90 Day Challenge starts June 27th, 2016 and will last for 90 consecutive days.
6) Why are you giving away all your "secrets"? I first learned about music licensing when I attended Berklee College of Music in the mid 90's as a songwriting major. In the same way that my songwriting professor at Berklee who introduced me to the concept of music licensing was simply doing her job and sharing her passion, I'm simply sharing what I've learned over the last twelve years. I love working with musicians and take great pride in being able to offer the training and courses I offer. I'm also limiting each training program to just 50 people, due to the one on one coaching involved.
7) How will I know if the course is sold out? Once all the spots are reserved I'll take down the "add to cart" button on the home page and put up a big "sold out" sign in place of the video. If you want to sign up for the next 90 Day Challenge be sure to reserve your spot as soon as you can. Sign up on the homepage.
10) I'm sold, where do I sign up? Go back to the homepage, and look for the "add to cart" button to reserve your spot in the next 90 Day Challenge. I'll email you a confirmation and also send you all the bonus material right away. After that, the weekend prior to the start of the program, you'll get access to the member's area where you can access the training, member's forum, conference calls and daily leads. We'll schedule our first consultation during the first or second week of the 90 Day Music Licensing Challenge.
